Privacy

This space is built to know as little about you as possible. Everything it does process is listed here in full.

What is stored

The text of your intention, the language you chose, a numerical vector computed from it (the embedding), the times of creation, change and activation, and the state of your intention.

When you signal resonance, it is stored which intention signalled to which other one, and when. When you offer a way to get in touch, that text is stored.

Not stored: your name, your email address, a user account, your location or a usage profile. There are no analytics tools, no advertising identifiers and no cookies apart from one that remembers your choice of language.

In addition, your browser keeps your own private links and a short excerpt of your text in its local storage, so that you can find them again. That stays on your device — the resonance space knows nothing about it. Each entry can be removed individually, and clearing your browser data removes all of them.

Who has access

Your intention is shown to other people as text only, and only when it lies semantically close to theirs — without an identifier, without a timestamp, without any reference to you.

The private link is the only proof that an intention belongs to you. Whoever holds it can manage it. So please do not pass it on.

A way to get in touch becomes visible to the other side only once both sides have offered one.

Transfer to OpenAI

In order to compute semantic proximity, the text of your intention is sent to OpenAI and converted into a numerical vector there. The provider is OpenAI, Ireland Ltd.; processing may involve servers in the United States.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR: without this computation there is no resonance space.

If you do not want your text to be transferred, please do not create an intention.

For how long

An intention stays visible in the space for six weeks. After that it drops out automatically, unless you explicitly confirm that it is still present for you.

Using your private link you can delete your intention at any time. Every resonance signal and every contact offer in both directions disappears with it — permanently and without remainder.

To guard against data loss, the data is backed up once a day. Each backup is deleted after seven days. For that long a deleted intention, together with its signals and contact offers, may still be contained in a backup; it is never shown from there. A backup is only used to restore the data after a technical fault.

Server logs

Technical events are logged for operational purposes. Intention texts, contact details and private links do not appear in them.

Your rights

You have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Because this space knows no persons, only intentions, you need your private link for access and erasure — it is the only connection between you and your data.
